Successful Grower Results in Potted Flowering
Crop Production:
A California grower uses Phyton-27® as a drench on cyclamen
against Erwinia for 3 applications throughout the crop. They have
increased their production to 100%, compared to 70-85% before using
Phyton-27®.
Phyton-27® did a beautiful job on the poinsettias of a Washington
grower this last season. He trialed it for scab and it was much
more effective than myclobutanil, which he had to spray 3 to 4 times.
After each myclobutanil application, the scab came back more vigorous
than the last time and the scab had already damaged the plants.
He only had to spray Phyton-27® twice at a low rate (1.5oz rate
or so) with a 7 to 10 day interval and it completely took care of
the scab.
An Iowa grower uses Phyton-27® on Calla lilies for Erwinia.
He increased his yield to 99% as compared to 70-75%before using
Phyton-27®. He sprays every 2 weeks with 2 ounces per 10 gallons,
starting 30 days after planting, when the plants are about 6-8 inches
tall.
