FLORICULTURE PROPAGATION

A clean start during propagation is the first step towards a healthy crop. Whether it’s cuttings from stock plants, seedlings, or tissue culture, Phyton-27® is an ideal “Partner in Propagation,” with all the qualities needed for a successful beginning:

Tough on Diseases in Stock Plants Older plant material such as stock plants can harbor lingering diseases - Phyton-27® knocks them out before they are carried to new cuttings.

Increased Yield and Quality of Cuttings Decrease losses due to stress and disease on easy- and tough-to-propagate species.

Gentle on the Most Tender Plant Tissue Safe on seedlings, cuttings and microcuttings coming out of tissue culture.

Systemic Phyton-27® is absorbed by the plant within hours of application, so it won’t be washed off by mist or irrigation.

Protects During Transitions Phyton-27® is effective during stressful transitions that make young plants vulnerable to disease - transplant, shipping or the transition from the laboratory to the greenhouse.

Successful Grower Results in Floriculture Propagation:

A grower in California ran a trial on field selected, heather cuttings, rooted under mist. 100 plants were treated with Phyton-27® (15 ounces per 100 gallons) and 100 plants were left untreated. They achieved an 88% yield in the treated group, while losing all the plants in the untreated group. “Amazing results.”

A calla lily grower in Wisconsin has seen significant improvements against Erwinia with a pre-plant dip for tubers in 5oz/10gal solution for 5 minutes. He increased his yield to 95% with dipping as compared to 50% yield before using Phyton-27®.
